Sarasota FL Provence and Reserve at Honore a Market Review
Two developments on Honore Avenue offer high-end homes in an intimate setting.
Travel up Honore Avenue from Proctor Road to the modern roundabout at Ashton Road. And you’ll pass a number of small, one-stop subdivisions with quirky names. Including Silver Leaf, Luna Bay, Palm Isles and Colony Groves. Known as “infill” neighborhoods because they fill empty spaces in existing developments, they occupy limited acreage. Most of them consist of less than 20 houses on either side of a single, short street. That ends in a narrow, bulb-shaped cul de sac.
The Provence and the Honore Reserve are two recent additions to the area. Both have one-and two-story, medium-sized single-family residences, mostly in the $400,000 price range.
Provence owns 4.84 acres on the east side of Honore Street. The development of the enclave began in 2016 with the development of Neal Signature Homes, a high-end subdivision of the Neal Communities, which has built more than 14,000 homes in South West Florida since 1970.
“Our luxury brand offers more customization and personalization in floor plans, more optional finishes and flexibility than the others,” said Leisa Weintraub, Vice President Marketing Creative Director at Neal Communities. “If you want a wall bumped over a bit, we can do that.”
Provence is named after the beautiful area in south-eastern France, famed for its picturesque towns and spectacular landscapes. The French style follows the four styles of home — Esprit, Elan, Reve, and Marseille — and architectural design.
“The style is Country French, with decorative elements like brackets and corbels under the roof line, partial stone facades, steeper roofs, paver driveways and light earth tones and greys for colors,” said Weintraub.
All the houses have three suites, two bathrooms, two-car garages and spacious interiors, ranging from 2,010 to 2,577 square feet of living space.
